About Us The main difference with us is that we use what we sell & we eat what we raise! We raise Wagyu Full Blood with some top Elite Genetics in the World. Also F1, F2 Commercial Crosses to butcher we are based in Northern Colorado. Dean and Donna have several full blood Wagyu Bulls and Cows they Cross on other Full Bloods for Seed Stock, as well as on Commercial Cows for F1 Crosses. We have raised our own beef for years and wanted to elevate the meat. Dean got into the Wagyu Full Bloods in 2017 to cross on commercial cows for F1's for meat production, starting with the purchase of " Vince". Dean and Donna purchased Shogun 7704 Full Blood Wagyu Bull (partnering with Don Brown & the Triangle B Wagyu Ranch). "Shogun" is way over Top 1% in "BFI" $ 645, Top 1% Marble Score, Self Replacing Index, FB Terminal Index, & F1 Terminal Index. Top 2% Marble Fineness. * Based on EBV'S AS of 2nd run of Nov 24. He is agreat sire who is consistently out producing himself. Dean & Donna also have done Dirt work & Custom Farming as well. Ackerman Distributing has been Family Owned & Operated Since 1969. When Dean started in 1969, he couldn’t rub two nickels together, and began by building fence & putting up hay. After 57 years in business, he and his family have built Distributing into a company known nationwide for selling quality livestock equipment at great prices. Currently # 2 for Sales WW MFG just under a Million in Sales for 2025, 3rd Largest Titan West Dealer in the Nation. A Top 10 Distributor for Several Mfg's. Donna Ackerman has helped with all aspects of the business. Donna has won 13 National & Reserve National APHA Titles, Won the All Around Paint World Title 3 Times & Challenge of the Breeds in 1983. Donna is still running a very successful Horse Business; Breeding, Boarding & Selling Horses. Heather, “Dean’s” daughter, starting working into the business in 1999 at the age of 12 in Sales and she now manages the Distributing Business. She handles everything from answering the phone/sales to marketing and unloading/loading equipment, sometimes even with 2 small kids in tow! David Badley, has come into the family owned business as he and Heather were married in 2012. David has his own successful Welding/Fencing Business Integrity Welding Service LLC, he helps load/unload equipment, & service/repairs on the Rice Lake Livestock Scales. David & Heather compete as a family in Cowboy Mounted Shooting (with their two children) & are getting geared up for some bigger shoots! It’s run like a family farm, ranch operation because it is, we live next to each other, with cows,horses and the equipment yard in the back. We work together to make it work. We pride ourselves in bringing quality equipment to our customers, at great prices! We use what we sell, and we fill our freezers with the Wagyu Cattle we raise. We appreciate all of our Customers, & Manufacturers and we truly love & feel blessed to do what we do every day! |
