Hollywood Dunit Good, One of the most beautiful sons of the great Hollywood Dun It, Hollywood has his sire’s temperament, he is gentle, smart, amazingly athletic and will try his heart out to please.
He stands 14.3, is perfectly correct on his front and hind legs, has good bone, short cannon bones and very hard good size hooves, & never needs shoes. His foals are easy to pick out, they have his sculptured pretty head and are friendly and so easy to train. As adults they are stunning.
He has worked cattle and from the very first time locks on the them and wants to hold them. Hollywood is a easy soft lead changer, and will not crossfire, ever, I had trouble counter leading him , because when I would figure eight him into a counter lead he would simply change leads as soon as he began the new direction, at 6 weeks into training, he was spinning on his own with out holding the reins.
He never needed to learn how to do maneuvers, he only needed to learn the cues to do them. He love people and will drop his head down so little kids can pet him. He is an incredible individual and can only imagine how Tim McQuay must have missed his Hollywood Dun It, when he was put down that day, and if ever a line of breeding ever deserves to keep reproducing it’s the Dunit’s.
The non pros, youth and majority of people, 90 %, who don’t show, who want a fun, athletic, smooth pretty horse to trail ride, team pen, ranch versatility, be safe for their kids, love these horses. When you do sell them, they are the first ones our customers want. |
